My maiden name is Gayle Bruhn.
My father was Lionel Stanley Bruhn.
My mother was Wendy Barbara Bradford. I have brothers, Robert Bruhn and Peter Bruhn (dec)
After 50 years of the horrible cyclone l can remember with horror of reading that a child with the same surname.
Not sure if we’re related but would like to be in contact with anyone related.

I arrived at Andrews parents house late morning after the blow to find Andrews Dad Zeke in tears standing next to his car and demolished house. When I asked if he was ok he pointed to the boot of his car and told me his baby’s body was in the boot as he has been slowly crushed to death while sheltering with his parents under the bed when the building collapsed on top of them.
Worked with Zeke at the slipway. Remember it. We gave Zeke a Toyota 4×4 later to go bush for a bit to unwind.
This was my Dad.
His name was Sig (short for Siegfried), but I can understand how you might think Zeke, he used to get Zigg a lot as well.
