As we approach the 50th anniversary of Cyclone Tracy, funding has poured into public sculptures and committees—hundreds of thousands of dollars. But this website, the most comprehensive digital legacy of Cyclone Tracy, has been sustained entirely by my own time, effort, and personal savings. Now, those resources are running dry. I can’t keep doing this alone. With your help, we can ensure that these memories and stories remain accessible for generations.

Who Am I?
My name is Cathryn Doney. I am a survivor of Cyclone Tracy and a founding member and admin of the Cyclone Tracy Survivors Facebook group, which has almost 8,000 members and has been running for more than 15 years. This website is my personal project—born out of a passion to preserve the history of that night and the strength of those who lived through it. You can view my objectives for this site here.
Why Your Support Matters
Right now, I need $5,000 to complete building and hosting the site, and approximately $5,000 each year for ongoing maintenance. My vision is simple but profound: to make this website a central, enduring repository for everything related to Cyclone Tracy—a place where these stories are preserved, in perpetuity. Lest we forget.
If you can contribute even a little, it would make a world of difference. Donations can be made anonymously if you prefer. Thank you so much for your support!
