Tracy, by Danny Thomas (RIP)

Published with permission of Georgia Thomas (Danny’s sister). She writes:

Hi there

Not sure if you can use the above at all, and the quality is not very good, but I am happy to give permission for its use (if wanted) for this event only.

Danny was always passionate about Cyclone Tracy and that it be remembered as a significant event in our history. He produced a small concert at the gardens for the 30th Anniversary. This also got media coverage which may be available in the ABC (?) files.

We both went through Cyclone Tracy however I was only 4, Danny was 14. His father (Daniel Thomas Snr) managed Sea North and post cyclone helped recover bodies from the harbour.

Good luck with this worthy project.

Cheers

Georgia Thomas”
