I first met Billy in London December 1963.
We met at the old Downunder Club – 422 Fulham Rd, Fulham . ( now part of the Chelsea FC )
Billy had a room next to mine – we palled up for a few drinking sessions as I remember.
In an environment full of characters …. Billy fitted in well. He certainly was a character.
Many stories, many adventures, many anecdotes, and a lot of stories that will remain on the football trip.
Vale Bill.
I remember Bill, he was one of my husband Ted Millers best friends when we first met. They were living in a croup house in Downer. He rode motorcycles at Mount Gin race track and was a good friend to so many friends in Canberra. Many are the morning we would get a banging on our bedroom window with Bill saying “get up Miller I need coffee “ he would have had a big night out. There are so many memories of him I could write a book. All great, miss you Bill, Sandra
